Active Membership                                Associate Membership

A. Qualifications

1. Membership in this association shall be restricted to those qualified as described herein and additionally below.

a. Shall have submitted an application which is completely filled out.

b. Shall meet the qualifications of the classification applied for.

c. Shall receive approval of a majority of the Active Members present at the meeting at which vote is taken.

d. Shall be willing to exchange trade information and technical knowledge with the association.

e. Shall be a citizen of the United States of America.

f. Shall be willing to take the Association oath of allegiance.

g. Shall be able to attend a minimum of eight meetings per year.

 

B. Classifications

 

1. Active: Persons meeting the qualifications of Section A and the following:

a. have worked three out of the last five years full time as a locksmith in a New Jersey locksmith business serving the public.

b. have received a qualifying score on the membership investigation.

c. shall be at least twenty-one years of age.

6. Associate Membership is open to any manufacturer, distributor, or manufacturer's representative whose products are related to the locksmith industry. They shall:

a. be required to meet the qualifications under Section A.1.a., b., c. and d.

b. have no voice and no vote in the management of the Association's affairs and shall not be mailed the minutes of the meetings.

c. receive a 10% discount on convention booth space and a 10% discount on advertising, provided their dues are paid in full.

d. be recognized at the annual convention.

e. receive a one line listing in the monthly minutes of the association.

f. be permitted to use the "Associate Member Logo" while a member.
